Rudy is scaring me again. He's quite quick on his feet and I can already tell the card he's going to play if he wins - Executive, Business experience.

Yikes, did he really cut crime, cut taxes 23 times, and turn the NYC economy around? Oh, don't get me wrong = he's a dirt bag - but if he can say those things definitively - he's going to be hard to beat.

19. We can all laugh - but the vast majority of people in the US who

don't keep up with everything like we do, still have that positive hero image of Rudy. And, he's a sly talker - I think he'll have a convincing comeback for everything people throw at him. Just like last night, when he effectively (IMHO, looking at it through someone's everyday Joe eyes) got the best of the criticism about his personal life. He said his record of accomplishment showed that he could have personal troubles and still perform. Then he rattled off all the stats on the economy in NY, crime, etc. It was probably effective to the masses. He must have some great handlers !

To hell with what he says or does, Rudy's in the race for one thing and one thing only...to be the "great white hope"...the man who will beat Hillary. This is image over substance...playing to the chickenshits who inhabit the GOOP. Rudy's real good at playing to those fears. They include brown-skinned people (Rudy sure put them in their place in NYC), puffing up one's balls while letting someone elses kid do the dying and being the best hope to "beat Hillary".

For years, the GOOP sheeple have been bombed with the "Hillary is coming" meme...the ultimate nightmare upon nightmares. The fear of Hillary is first and foremost in many of these people's heads now that it's become an obsession. Rudy is the cure-all...the man who will save these chickenshits from their real fear...not Al Queda or Mexicans...but Hillary!
