Well--since the Aussies gave us Rupert Murdoch, maybe we've already been dealt a similar blow to the cause of democracy and humanity over here. (Rupert being a crafty SOB in his own right, Dubya representing a cadre of them). Ruthless marauders, both of them.

So maybe we don't need to apologize for these rapacious cowboys plundering the globe, since they violate any sense of responsibility to any nation. Like Dubya crawling back to Crawford, Rupert should be banished back to a sheep ranch in lower Woop Woop, under permanent house arrest. He can work with the shearers cleaning off sheep dags while contemplating his future perch in Hell.

6. First, Bush

who was there mis-called APEC (the summit) OPEC (we all know what that is), then he referred to the Aussies as Austrians (citizens of a country in Europe). He isn't even smart enough to know how to refer to his host country. Not that he likely gives a shit, except for how it might reflect on him.

The Aussies are good people. I'm pretty sure they don't equate him with us, but someone has to apologize to them for inflicting this bastard upon them. So I thought I would.
