(Hillsboro, Oregon) An Oregon man has been sentenced to 25-years behind bars for raping his step son to get revenge on the boy's mother.

Following his arrest William Gerald Collins, 44, told police he wanted to force the boy into being gay so that his ex-wife would not have any grandchildren.

That poor boy. There just aren't words. And how his mother must feel, for letting that vermin contaminate her child's life.... I hope the kid manages to recover. That's such a vulnerable age. Well, childhood as a whole is such a vulnerable age, and anyone who preys on a child is doubly vile and loathsome.

And WTF? What is going on in William Gerald Collins' foul, nasty head that he thinks you can "force" someone into becoming gay? (And for such a ridiculous reason.) That smacks of Craig-like self hatred. Not that I have any pity for him, just a feeling of WTF is wrong with you that you would rape a child (or anyone)?

Sometimes it gets really hard to see the spark of divinity in all people.... William Gerald Collins' spark is pretty damn tiny. I hope he enjoys the next 25 years.

13. depravity as revenge.... there was a case in Indiana, not too many years ago

where a man killed his toddler son in revenge - but here is where it gets depraved... the wife prevented him from going to his father's funeral (maybe it was during the honeymoon - don't recall the details) - and he begins plotting from that day forward - to get the wife pregnant, divorce her and then kill the baby after it is born, to get back at the mother.

I can't fathom the darkness in these two father's souls ... to brutalize or murder their children as a means of revenge on their former wives.
