I am watching the History Channel discussing the Super Volcano underneath Yellowstone National Park....

I am wondering: Would one nuke detonated beneath ground level set it off????

1. I wouldn't think so, but I'm not a physicist. But a caldera needs pressure

built up to be devastating. I would think, theoretically, an underground nuke could actually relieve some of the pressure.

But, again, I'm not a physicist or geologist, and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night.
