Then it's off to the beach, should be a good day.
I haven't picked a candidate yet to support. I haven't been to a political rally since I saw Nixon in Dayton,Ohio way back when.
I hated Nixon at the time and he tricked me all right. He asked how many people in the crowd were under 25yrs old. We raised our hands and then he said, "See how many young people we have supporting us!"
I don't think Obama will pull any tricks tomorrow like tricky Dick did.

Have fun. I haven't chosen a candidate, either, but Obama is in my top five, at least!

3. I would love to see Obama in person but he has not appeared |
|
in my area. In my humble opinion he would make the best president. Unfortunately he does not have the backing of the big shots in the Democrat party. The reason is that they cannot control him.

5. Be sure to report back.I have to be at a friend's recital in Thousand Oaks, or I'd go see Obama too |
|
It's tempting to try to make both events, but the campus will be jammed and I don't want to take a chance that I might miss showing support for a personal friend as opposed to a politician.
I car-pooled with Democratic friends to see Obama in Los Angeles some months ago and liked him very much then, but Santa Barbara City College will be a whole different audience. Besides, he's now had all these months of national campaigning under his belt, so his stump speech should really be smooth by now.
Like I said, be sure to report back to us!

7. I thought your post said "I have tickets to see Osama tomorrow" |
|
and thought, "why the hell not?" "after all if AQ has a media department, they may as well fill a few concert venues while waiting for the rapture."
