1. This has been ran through the ringer once today.
I don't give a hoot if she was nude, get me to my destination. You ain't seen a crotch before?

2. I'd prefer it if she were nude!
That's a sentiment that will probably send some DUers through the roof.

6. Well wife and I will spend the weekend on a nude beach. I don't get too upset with
crotch shots.

4. I didn't see anything wrong with what she had on.
I suppose if her skirt got hiked up a bit, and her tank top drooped a bit, there could be issues, but you see that type of dress on television every night of the week.

I wish they'd do something about men wearing sleeveless athletic shirts in places where other people eat. There's something very unappetizing about a big wad of armpit hair hanging out, especially if it's sweaty. YUCK.

7. Actually there used to be a dress code
When you flew you were expected to dress formally.

Flight attendants were also friendly and helpful.

In this case however, I don't think the young woman was dressed inappropriately at all. In fact, I think she looks fantastic.

13. It was unstated, though.
People just did it, because flying was a big, expensive, exclusive deal. Now it's about as glamorous as the crosstown bus.

8. I think it is silly but in fairness we don't know "what" the outfit really looked like.
She clearly has pulled up the tank and pulled the skirt down as far as it could go in the picture. It doesn't look "natural.I am betting there was lots of cleavage and the skirt rode all the way up.No one is mentioning if she wore undies. If this was like a Brittany crotch shot, the airline would have been justified. If it was not and just a skirt slightly riding up unintentionally,it would be outrageous. People should be able to dress the way they wish but public exhibitionism is another thing! People would have been equally outraged if a man let his privates hang out from shorts.

an eye. Thank goodness someone is looking out.

As I've heard has happened.

12. I think it's kind of the same issue.
Both go to freedom of speech. Since when do airlines get to make up their own rules about how people can dress? Was it printed on this passenger's ticket somewhere? "Must Dress In Modest Attire?"

14. I tried to see what she was wearing, but I couldn't get
the page to work.

Still, the speech I'm talking about WAS actual speech, rather than symbolic speech -- if that wouldn't be protected, then nothing would be.

16. True dat.
Anyway, I hope she sues their asses off. And she wasn't wearing anything an ordinary SoCal twenty-year-old wouldn't wear. She's just got kind of enormous boobs, so I guess some airline employee decided she was committing a sin by letting him stare at them. Or something.

17. Well, let's start with what's within the law.
She was dressed perfectly appropriately, IMO, for any shopping mall or TGI Friday's in the country. A little trashy, maybe, but stripper-wear is kind of in style these days. Not a thing wrong with it unless you work for an airline and are reflexively inclined to make up arbitrary rules of conduct and push people around.

She looks like hundreds of women walking up and down Mission or Pacific Beach. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't look out of place anywhere in Tucson either.

19. She was on the Today Show this AM, dressed as she had on the plane. When she sat down I saw her
panties. Personally I don't care but perhaps one passenger saw her sit down and saw what I saw, and the found it offensive.

20. So because some tight-ass was offended, that's a good reason
to humiliate her?

21. Did I say that? I said I couldn't care less but guessed that was the reason why
she was humiliated.

BTW..Keith Olbermann just reported the same thing I wrote about her panties showing this morning.

22. They really want to take all the joy out of flying, don't they.
Yes, god forbid you should be comfortable when they confine you on the tarmac for 15 hours.

I swear I won't complain as long as she won't complain about me looking at her.
