I don't care what the hell that liar Petraeus has to say, this war needs to end now.

For monthes now we have been hearing about the great oracle David Petraeus, he is the man that is going to tell us whether or not the "surge" is working. Now we are only a few days away from getting this supposedly very important report, and the media is ready to report breathlessly about every sylable that comes out of Petraeus' mouth when he testifies.

They can report all they want though, but I don't really give a shit what Petraeus has to say and I don't understand why the hell anyone would give a shit.

I mean honestly, does anyone who is not an idiot actually think he is actually going to speak the truth? This is the man that was chosen by Bush and pumped up by Joe Lieberman and his neo-con buddies. This a man who kept speaking about just how great the war was going while Iraq slipped and further and further into the abyss.

The fact is that a man who supported this disastarous war from the beginning has no credibility. No how much the media wants to put this man on a pedestal, the fact is that he is a lying sack of shit just like all the other neo-cons that Bush has put in front of our faces.

Don't believe he is a liar? Well just look at what Jim Lehrer had to say in 2003:

The U.S. military has found a second trailer in Iraq that could have been a mobile bio-weapons lab. the commander of the 101st Airborne Division, Major General David Petraeus, confirmed that today.

That is right, Petraeus "confirmed" to our media in 2003 that they may have found Weapons of Mass Destruction. And this is the guy they expect us to listen to when he testifies on how well the war is going?

Fuck that. If the media had any credibility at all the headlines would read "Man Who Lied About WMDs and Progress in Iraq Set to Sell the Iraq War to Congress". But no, instead they eagerly await a report from a liar.

A lot has been spoken over the blogs about how Petraeus' report is not actually going to be written by Petraeus, but instead it will be written by the White House. Far less has been spoken about it in the corporate media, but in the end that probably doesn't matter. From all appearances any report Petraeus would write would look almost identical to the report the White House will write.

There is a reason that Bush, Lieberman, and all the other neo-cons speak Petraeus' name so much, they love the guy. They know he will do their bidding, and that is the reason why we can not allow him to do our bidding.

I don't care what Petraeus says to Congress next week, I care about what the mother who lost her son says. I care about what the Iraqi child who had their limbs blown off at the same time they saw their parents killed in front of their eyes has to say. I care about what the disabled veteran who was lied to by our pResident has to say. But I sure as hell don't care about what some lying neo-con military commander has to say.

I am really so sad to observe that what Bush and all his types believe is that if they let this meyhem in Iraq go for long enough time the Iraqis (or whoever the the BushCo thinks that the violence is comeing from ) will defeat itself (through exaustion of Killing Iraqis) and victry will eventually come. That is why they are letting all this mayhem go insteading of withdrawing and letting.....
