Something we should mention often about Petraeus |
The ONLY reason he has a major significance is because there is no one within the Administration with even one once of credibility. Petraeus is a lifelong soldier that has a very solid reputation and is not really beholden to this Administration. The American People and Congress of both Parties do not trust anything the Administration says. They are proved LIARS.. Congress will listen respectfully to whatever Petraeus has to say, and that cannot be said about anyone from the Administration..Remind people of why it is Petraeus instead of the Secretary of Defense Gates or Secretary of State Condi or ??????? It has to be someone completely outside the Administration to even get a hearing..

5. For some reason, KO said last night that there is no written report, |
that patreus would be "winging it". I assumed bushler brought the report with him to his "surprise" visit to anbar this week.
