37. So that's why 5-rugs-for-5-bucks went after Clinton so ferociously...
He's against heterosexual relationships.

He's the one I'd like to see get what's coming to him.

2. this comment is priceless!
The McConnell “get out or Vietnam” angle struck me as well.

“Hey, I didn’t grab that guy’s nuts because I’m gay, I did it because I’m a coward.”

Either way he seems to fit quite nicely with the Republican crowd.

9. damn, i read some of the comments in the link
I can't believe how many people think they "know" someone is gay because of the way they stand, or talk, or just the way they look. I mean, sure, some people pretty much advertise it, but I would never bet the farm on having reliable "gaydar." To assume you do is to declare your McCarthyite personality.

I mean, damn, if it were that easy, then gays would not need to signal with foot taps and such, would they? And I would not have been approached more than once by gays seeking "companionship."
Unless really I'm gay and don't know it. But then I would not also have been approached by women... unless they were bi... oh, hell, now I'm all confused.

Too much rumor and inuendo seems to be the talking points for this to be journalism. It is more like gossip, and although probably correct, I would hate to be judged by those standards myself.

21. Closeting?
Hmm--I wonder if closeted gays, especially those who are driven by self-hatred (rather than, for example, fear or uncertainty) are more likely to subconciously adopt so-called "gay mannerisms."

Maybe some sort of Freudian id re-asserting itself in the face of the ego's denial?

Just popping off some extremely amateur psychology here . . .

23. Those are good points. To me, the question is why they undo themselves .
To me, the political piece of this is of interest but I don't want to see advances towards political sanity made as a result of broad based intolerance of sexual behavior (unless it involves exploitation, minors, etc, which is not unique to straight, bi, or gay people).

Presuming this is accurate, the really interesting point here is why do they undo themselves. If true, and there's more to come out I suspect, then these very aggressive, rude an intolerant politicians - about everything in style as well as substance - have set themselves up for a great fall. It's as though they sought out acceptance by and standing in the group that despises them as a form of protection with a possibility that they'll be exposed and then totally repudiated. The blog raising this issue is doing so because of indiscretions which are a form of self undoing. It's almost as though they're behavior, if this is correct, attracts the downfall they fear. Now that's strange.

38. It is *their* intolerance & hypocrisy that created this bizarro world.
If they can put loyalty to the Republican party -- which preaches & votes against the gay community -- above the interests of human & civil rights for all constituents, then each hypocritical, social bully standing behind the curtain deserves to be exposed for all to see.

15. oh my! Lindsey, Lindsey, Lindsey...
Sen. Lindsey Graham Is on Mike Roger’s List

If it were to come out that McCain’s Mini-Me, Sen. Graham, is gay, his chances of being reelected in South Carolina next year would drop to zero:

Lindsey Graham (R-SC), an unmarried/never married 52 year old with a funny, forced way of walking, has been far more fastidious with his homosexuality . Again, “everyone” knows– except the voters in conservative South Carolina. Not that it doesn’t come up from time to time; people talk. In fact, the head of the Democratic Party in South Carolina said something when the effeminate Lindsey decided to run for Thurmond’s senate seat. “He’s a little too light in the loafers” to succeed Strom Thurmond. Graham got into a really queenie tizzy fit and loudly threatened to sue– although he didn’t. (They never do.)

Other famous never-married GOP figures in their 50s include White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten and Sec. of State Condoleeza Rice.

except these are the same people who deny the rest of us our right to BE by dictating morality, passing draconian laws and denouncing and judging others with such sickening self-righteousness.

They are against two loving people wanting to make a responsible commitment with each other simply because they are of the same sex. Perhaps it is because they have themselves never been able to have any lasting relationships in their own lives or take responsibility for their own actions. They would prefer people seek out public bathrooms for sex than to ever make lasting commitments.

And they just LOVE to tell women what they can and can't do with their bodies and deny children healthcare, school lunches and good education. I do believe they hate women and children. These are the ones that uphold insurance companies from having to pay for women's birth control pills, but allow coverage for Cialis.

I think I truly now understand why there are non-stop Cialis commercials.

30. Did you read this last response post about white slave market in D.C. MISSING CHILDREN? Gannon????
In an airport in Fla. back in the late 70’s, my flight was delayed. I struck up a conversation with the guy sitting next to me for a while and we talked about generalities which led to what he did for a living. He claimed to be an investigative journalist and sounded like one. I asked him about something my father had talked about which was that many children who are missing in the US have been put on the white slave market in and around D.C. This guy said it is very true and that when a child is missing, local police departments check air flights bound for D.C. right away. When I asked him why D.C., he said they are offered up to our congressmen and it is a lucrative business in D.C… many takers.

I heard this same story again in the late 80’s from a neighbor from Minnesota. He said pretty much the same thing and noted Minnesota has many blue eyed blonde little boys because of their northern european heritage. And when one is missing the law heads for the airport. He said these little boys are the cream of the crop for the perverts. Pathetic!

I cannot WAIT until those 4 hypocrites are exposed!

34. If congress is anything like the population at large...
(and aside from the higher levels of income, greed and corrpution I would stipulate that they are), then anywhere from a low of 14 to a high of 53 members must be gay. Also, according to one study ( ^ Gary J. Gates Same-sex Couples and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Population: New Estimates from the American Community SurveyPDF (2.07 MiB). The Williams Institute on Sexual Orientation Law and Public Policy, UCLA School of Law October, 2006. Retrieved April 20, 2007.) Washington DC has the 6th highest GLB population in the country.
The idea of "outing" people kinda makes me nauseous, but when you spout hateful bullshit to goad the bible thumpers into voting against thier interests just because you are a "family values" kinda guy...you're pretty much begging to be outed!
