26. FYI...protesting in public

I called my local police department and asked what was required for a peaceful demonstration protesting against everything those bastards have gotten us into. Police said call City Hall. City Hall said call the police. Finally after being referred to three different people at City Hall was told as long as traffic was not blocked and citizens were not impeded, no permit was needed. Check with your local City Hall for your local requirements.

I was in a peaceful demonstration in the City Park last year and the police said we need to disperse because we did not have a permit to assemble. They were wrong. Wish I knew that then. We need to be smarter than they are (which isn't much of a stretch.)
