Michael Moore to be on John Stossel

Next Friday the 14th, Michael Moore will be interviewed by John Stossel on 20/20. The whole hr.will be devoted to the health care issue.

However, if I know Moore, he won't do the show without an ironclad guarantee that he will be able to speak his piece without the normal shenanigans used to marginalize guests the network doesn't agree with. Expect Moore to destroy the man, and all 17 regular viewers will see it.

3. I just saw a few minutes of that on the 20/20 I TiVoed last week

I'm not sure I'll bother watching the full hour.

I don't want to be like a freeper and simply close my eyes to news stories from people I disagree with... but John Stossel has an agenda, and is hardly unbiased himself.

Plus it won't be newsworthy if he ends up saying "yep, Michael Moore is absolutely right... not one single error in 'Sicko.' Boy am I an idiot for challenging him."

No matter how the interview itself went, if 20/20 and John Stossel are the ones doing the editing of that interview, they can do anything they want.

I hope I'm wrong. I guess I ought to watch just so I can hear both the non-tool/tool sides of the story.

Stossel is a chickenshit, and if anybody hasn't heard the audio of Al Franken squaring off with Stossel from a couple years ago, they should. Stossel is not only a corporate shill, but he's entirely incapable of going off-script, and can't handle two-sided dialoge.
