Phoney Fred--the softer, gentler *. |

A southerner who can fake a northern accent. Just as vacuous, inept, and lazy, and appears to equally engage in gazing at his own navel.
This is the saviour of the Republic Party? Literally, the great white hope?

3. As opposed to Obama, who can fake a Southern accent? |
|
Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn if candidates' accents change when they are in different parts of the country.
Some people pick up accents easily and unintentionally. Since there is no way to prove that those whose accents change are doing it on purpose, we should leave it alone.
There's no way to tell if Obama, Fred, or Hillary are faking accents.
It is no more wrong to pick up new accents easily than it is wrong to retain one accent your entire life (think Arnold Schwartzenegger.) I'd think Ahhnold was faking it but my Granny came to the U.S. as a young woman and never lost her English accent or her desire for tea at four every afternoon. She wasn't faking it so I'll give Ahhnold the benefit of the doubt, too. And Fred, Obama, and Hillary.
