I'm trying to think of the greatest risk the public faces from Democratic extremism and the greatest risk the public faces from Republican extremism.

I don't really know how to phrase my question. By risk I mean something like under the Dems the risk might be extreme socialism where the motivation to innovate is stiffled, and under the Reps the extreme risk might be the return of slavery.

I don't mean to agree to either of those, that's just an example of what the answer to my unclear question might be like.

Does anyone know what I'm asking about? Can you help clarify my question?

Conservatism(Republican) taken to logical Conclusion=Fascism further
extended = Nazism


Libertarinism taken to its logical extension =Anarchy
