Craig to withdraw guilty plea?
Craig to take back plea

Sen. Larry Craig will file court documents Monday asking to withdraw his guilty plea in a sex sting that seems likely to end his career, his attorney said. (AP, 6:31 p.m.)

The saga continues... :wtf:

1. Didn't think you could, without an EXCEEDINGLY strong reason - like police coercion.

2. I really don't give a rat's ass what he does,
except that I hope they don't go after the poor officer who was just doing his job. I imagine they will though. They will try to discredit him in some way. I hope he has a squeeky clean history. Not that I wouldn't put anything past these guys.

3. I don't really care either
I posted this because it has been a hot topic here & I didn't see it posted yet. I personally am sick of this story - lol.

I agree that it would be ashame if they trashed the young cop.

4. It was HIS decision not to talk to an attorney
and he WAS Miranda-ed.

I think his lawyers are just trying to squeeze an extra paycheck out of him.

7. He's a senator you know
He has a card to prove it. One way or the other this is going to be his "get out of jail free" card. What an ass he is.

8. Isn't that risking perjury?
Because he had to swear in a written court document that he was guilty, didn't he?
