I haven't viewed the video, but believe it is most likely a fake. Why?
OBL was diagnosed with kidney disease prior to 2001. He was reportedly already on dialysis at that point. This is not a procedure that keeps people alive indefinitely. Kidney disease runs in my family so I know this from painful experience.

I find it incredibly unlikely this man is still alive because even if he were on dialysis in a "developed" nation for the past six years he would still be at the end of his rope.

Hence, I won't even bother with subsequent videos because I cannot take them seriously.

2. Why is this never reported in the news?
Is it the lack of independent confirmation? Also is his kidney condition genetic or the result of a disease?

3. That kidney business might not be true. He might have just had a temporary
kidney problem that was resolved.

5. The "kidney problem"
has been discredited. It is no more true than the business about him being 6'6" tall -- unless, of course, he ways always surrounded by the Afghanistan basketball team.

6. I had heard he was treated for some pretty serious dehydration years ago.
The CIA interviewed him in hospital. That was around the time he was working in the Stan vs. the Russkies.

That was the origin of the rumor, I think...

7. Not discredited at all.
Just unsubstantiated.

A very interesting bit of info.

Or this:

Curious, no?

9. Discredited.
Though perhaps not by the sources you list. I tend not to look to Fox News for truth.

13. I was hoping
that, in response, you could provide a link or two that purports to discredit his death or kidney problem.

The significant thing about the Fox News report is that it is an anomaly of sorts. I would have expected, to the contrary, F-x news to perpetuate the myth that he's still alive.

10. And Michael Ledeen said OBL died in Dec 2005 and is buried in Iran.
http://www.nationalreview.com/ledeen/ledeen200601090808.asp His sources were Iranians he trusts. Then subsequently OBL popped up again & Ledeen acknowleged his info was mistaken. But apparently in July 2007 Ledeen declared OBL dead again: http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=OGE1MjBmMTgwYjdkY2I0ZGZhODAzMTdiZTcxODc5Zjg= Flip flopper. Haven't seen the latest Ledeen on the demise/nondemise of OBL.

The Bushites want OBL both dead and alive, depending on their purposes: He's dead: forget about him. He's alive: be afraid.

15. And supposedly a different organ failure as well.....
Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.

4. But actually we don't know that OBL has kidney disease or was on dialysis. Remember, reportedly he
also was in cahoots with Saddam too.

Snopes: http://www.snopes.com/rumors/kidney.htm

And from Lawrence Wright, author of "The Looming Tower"...

"In Saudi Arabia Wright started filling in the details of bin Laden's life, a portrait at odds with the urban myths put out by the CIA.

"If you could take your mind back to the kinds of things that we thought we knew about bin Laden back then, that he was, you know, a billionaire as the CIA said, that he was a physical giant, that he had kidney disease, none of those things is true," Wright said. "I talked to everybody who knew him..." http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/09/09/sunday/main3244713.shtml
