What a powerful show. What amazing people. It was very hard to watch. I thought one of the most insightful of the ten soldiers talked to happened to be the one with no sight. He made some very profound statements.
Be sure to watch this show if given the chance. It breaks your heart.

I saw the pics and read their stories. Doesn't the guy who lost his sight have diamond chips from his wedding ring on his fake eye? The one with the woman holding her arm was eerie.

After his marriage fell apart he had his eye doctor do that. He was very interesting to listen to. Very compelling statements.
Esquire magazine did long articles on at least two of these soldiers some time ago. Both were very good articles.
