1. Oh Yes..You get the feeling that a large percentage of Americans....
...LIKE to be lied to....

This percentage (of Americans) seems like they are aware of what has to be done as far as the Environment, Jobs, Debt etc but feel that somehow, someway if a Politician says HE can solve the problems with no help from the public, well shoot ...He's my Man/Woman!

I mean..Hell..I don't have to sacrifice anything... :)

3. You call Ron Paul a truth teller?
About the war, yes; but not about anything else. Glad he's unelectable! I hope all Republicans prove to be unelectable.

5. Agreed
I don't understand all of this Ron Paul happy-happy stuff around here. He is a GOP fool. His desire to get the troops home comes more from his isolationists roots than anything else.

Some DUer put up a poll the other day asking who would we vote for in the General election if the choices were Clinton and Paul. A full 20% of DUers were supporting Paul the last time I looked. Amazing! Amazingly stupid.

4. Gravel Has Been A Joke
He all but made a baffoon of himself at Yearly Kos and isn't shedding any light on the "truth" others haven't said.

The problem with all three is that they speak about ending a war, but offer few specific on how. Just withdraw troops? Where, how? Then what? This isn't a game where we just walk away and everyone forgets what happened. The after-effects of this war for profit and the abuses of the boosh regime just won't go away after 1-20-09...and this voter needs to hear what happens afterwards rather than feel-good words about withdrawl with few, if any specifics.
