I don`t know about the rest of you, but I think I might scream if I sit through one more "makin` progress" speech, one more half-truthed flip chart, one more media fool yakking about the Democratic Party`s "anti-war, MoveOn types" or one more of Bush`s staged Me-And-The-Troops events. Maybe in order to be a good American, I`m supposed to skip and hum during as I transition between Britney`s latest dance routine and Patraeus` elaborate snowjob. CNN and others have certainly helped me practice in that smooth transition department "Three U.S. troops killed today, but now on to our own Fiona who is standing where we think the cousin of Prince Harry`s girlfriend`s roommate will speak shortly."

Do these representatives think we elected them to give cover to George Bush? Are they supposed to protect him until he gets back to Crawford? See that he never takes responsibility for anything? This is like telling a heroine addict that he`d better keep right on using because things will get real bad if he quits. Good grief!

At this point, I couldn`t care less if Oprah will help Obama or if Bill will help Hillary. None of that matters to me. What does matter is knowing that as we`re piddling away time listening to one of Bush`s bullshit stories after another, real human beings are getting killed, maimed or otherwise destroyed in our names. It make me sick.

spewed forth by the crooks in the white house for the last seven years and had no backlash. The media continues to roll over. We all know that the main qualification for being one of the media is STUPIDITY. They have to be to repeat the republican talking points.

I don't know how any of them sleep at night. I don't know how they can look at their children snug in their beds and not think of the poor Iraqi children afraid to even go to sleep. How the media can even walk into a food store and not feel absolute overwhelming shame of the lies they have fostered on us for the last 15 years.
