Washington Democratic Congressman Brian Baird's statement (link below), is in response to MoveOn's ad; though he is actually responding to many, many angry constituents here in Washington and elsewhere who are deeply disappointed that he has bought into the BushCo regime's propaganda.

I heard him on Portland Oregon's wonderful progressive talk radio station (KPOJ - AM 620) last week defending his flip flop to many angry callers. Baird reported he actually visited with the troops on the ground in Iraq and made a decision based on what he "saw"; yet he failed to acknowledge that way in advance of his (and other politician) visits, specific troops were primed and rehearsed for Shrub's dog and pony show --- and he believed it!

Please contact Brian Baird and express your disappointment that is he letting down our Democratic party and those who elected him based on a promise to end the war. I hope he gets it from ALL over the country!

Thanks :hi:
