Auto insurance increases of 30% or more
my current auto insurance is going up over 30% this next year.. I called another company which made me a quote in August only to find their rates are going up over 30% as well.. This is BS folks.. They blame inflation and medical costs as the main reason why.. There has got to something we can do about this crap.. My auto depreciates and I shouldn't have to pay more each year..

2. I haven't gotten my new policy yet
but I always wondered how they figured that about a new car costing more but it still costs more each year even though the car gets older. What a racket they got.

3. hmmm, mine just reupped in July, no increase I could see
but I have USAA and they're pretty darned good.

I *do* know that some insurance companies will up the rates if your credit score has gone down for some reason

15. I've been with USAA since 1994
Absolutely best Inusurance/banking company out there.

We have two cars that cost us about $100 a month to insure in Northern VA.

5. Our insurance company tried to raise our rates
based on our credit score. Despite the fact that I have NEVER had an accident or a moving violation in all my years of driving, and my wife's record is fairly clean.

We switched companies to American Family and got a good deal. Cheaper than what we had originally.

I loathe insurance companies in general and this didn't help matters at all.

12. The insurance industry is one of the industries that are poorly regulated, IMHO.
So they can get away with a lot of fleecing without being called on their bullshit.
