Tom Foreman of CNN excoriates Moveon.org...
Edited on Mon Sep-10-07 05:05 PM by Flubadubya
I just tuned into the most incredible blast of M$M propraganda I believe I have every heard. This man was taking Moveon.org's points one by one and trying to thoroughly debunk them using the Great Petraus as the bullhorn. The man was absolutely seething as he attacked not just the ideas, but the organization as well. The big headline under his piece said "Moveon.org Draws Fire" with a blatently biased subtitle saying something like "Liberal group takes heat" or something suggesting Moven was just flat wrong and, of course, mostly "just liberal" (that nasty, nasty word). There was such vehemence in his voice when he spoke of the group - the disgust and animus for "all things liberal" was just palpable.

Otherwise the man really didn't present any proof that Moveon was wrong on any issueother than the words of Petraus alone. It was one of the most disgusting displays of "liberal bias" I think I have ever seen. Oh yes, mind you, the M$M is absolutely taking out all the stops to sell this f*n war!!! :puke: :grr:

I must not type as fast as you. You make good points too. I am just dumbfounded at how M$M has just dropped all pretenses at not hating anything "liberal".

3. K & R!
I will remember Tom Foreman in the same manner that I remember Sanjay (BigPharma Tool) Gupta. Both of them pulled out all the stops to attack their opponents, not with facts, but with propaganda and fear.

CNN IS Fox "News"!

7. Repeat this over and over.
THE MSM is enabling the GOP to continue the occupation of Iraq
for years.

The GOP is keeping the Iraqi Occupation until the next preseidency
and movement is underway for the next President to contiue it
for years to come. Follow AEI.

Everytime they call Dems--cut and run.

Respond. The GOP will keep us in Iraq for years. Over and Over.

8. Actually, I think that Tom Foreman has a pretty good show on Iraq on the weekend
This Week At War usually has some pretty good reporting and Foreman is usually going after anyone who says the war is going well.

I didn't see this show where he was cutting down the Moveon ad.

9. Moveon is a target...

of the centrists, too. Pisses them off that Moveon is just not..... polite.

I think a lot of the mainstream, centrist Dems are like the Uncle Tom blacks of the civil rights movement. "All that demonstrating and yelling is just going to make the white man mad. We got to go slow and be respectful." Only thing different is that the Dems are in the majority.
Heard a "liberal" commentator squawking and flapping about how Moveon is hurting the liberal movement.

The war is killing and maiming people every day. We were right from the beginning. And we don't have to be polite.
