An e-mail I just received from the RNC: the Democrat Party is attacking the troops-- again!
My buddies at the RNC just sent me an e-mail, with the heading: "Fight MoveOn.org from Undermining Our Troops". Here's some of the e-mail.

Dear {TexasLawyer),

The radical liberals have taken over the Democrat Party. As The New York Times recently reported, Democrat leadership aides participate in a conference call with left-wing groups - including MoveOn.org - every morning to coordinate their efforts.

Now, MoveOn.org is openly attacking our generals and troops. This week they ran full page newspaper ads attacking the integrity of our top military commander in Iraq, General Petraeus, as he was testifying before Congress. And, the Democrat leaders have said nothing. Nothing! Are they complicit in these attacks by their silence?

This kind of malicious and despicable attack cannot stand -- and we must fight back, (TexasLawyer}. Please make an urgent online contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 to the RNC today to help us set the record straight and elect Republican candidates who support our troops fighting to protect our nation and win the War on Terror.

<snip-- paragraph about MoveOn.org being controlled by liberal billionaires like George Soros>.

(TexasLawyer}, first it was Harry Reid attacking our military leaders, calling them incompetent. Then Barack Obama said that our men and women serving in Afghanistan are just "air-raiding villages and killing civilians." Now the Democrats' biggest booster, MoveOn.org, is suggesting that General Petraeus is "cooking the books" and will "betray us," and the Democrat leadership stays silent.

We need your help to answer these attacks and get our message past the liberal mainstream media filter. Your secure online contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 today will help us do just that. The Democrats and their left-wing allies' propaganda cannot go unanswered. Please help as generously as you can.

Sincerely,

Robert M. "Mike" Duncan
Chairman, Republican National Committee

<snip--PS message about how the GOP loves and supports the troops and is busy fighting terror>.

9. Wouldn't want anyone who knows what 'democratic' means to get confused
Of course, that deceptive practice is being brought to you by the same idiots who try to link 9/11 to Iraq.

11. It goes back to the Goldwater days
I'm not sure what they're trying to accomplish. Maybe because they want to emphasize the 'rat'.

Somebody once speculated that they refuse to call it the Democratic party because they want to separate the party from the idea of 'democracy'.

4. Funny thing about the "Democrat" party is
the average Faux news watching Republican who reads this kind of crap, doesn't even know he's saying it wrong.

Too bad the RNC must dupe its poor followers to score their little 'victory' through stupidity.

7. They just keep on lying to themselves don't they?
I can not think of a better way of Supporting the troops then bringing them home!!!

They, the RNC and their ilk, DO NOT SUPPORT THE TROOPS and seem to enjoy watching them die needlessly and on false pretenses!
