6. wrong
2.25 million have fled (mostly to Egypt, Syria, and Jordan) these are the
educated class
2.0 million are internal refugees (homeless or living w/ family)
8.0 million (U.N. figure) are in dire need of food & water

The real scale of what is being done in Iraq is massive.

Nearly 2 million Iraqis -- about 8 percent of the prewar population -- have embarked on a desperate migration,
mostly to Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, according to the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees. The refugees include
large numbers of doctors, academics and other professionals vital for Iraq's recovery. Another 1.7 million have been
forced to move to safer towns and villages inside Iraq, and as many as 50,000 Iraqis a month flee their homes, the
U.N. agency said in January.

(Feb 2007 figure .... another 1/4 million have left by now (rough guess)

Geneva - More than four million Iraqis have fled their homes because of sectarian violence, the largest population
movement in the Middle East since Palestinians left the new state of Israel, the United Nations refugee agency said
on Tuesday. "An estimated 4.2 million Iraqis have been uprooted from their homes, with the monthly rate of displacement
climbing to over 60 000 people compared to 50 000 previously," UN High Commissioner for Refugees...

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- About eight million Iraqis -- nearly a third of the population -- are without water, sanitation,
food and shelter and need emergency aid, a report by two major relief agencies says.

Oxfam and the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Coordination Committee in Iraq have issued a briefing paper
that says violence in Iraq is masking a humanitarian crisis that has worsened since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003.

The paper, called "Rising to the Humanitarian Challenge in Iraq," is the latest documentation of the misery faced by Iraqis.

"Eight million people are in urgent need of emergency aid; that figure includes over two million who are displaced within
the country, and more than two million refugees. Many more are living in poverty, without basic services, and increasingly
threatened by disease and malnutrition," said the relief agencies' report. The population of Iraq is 26 million.

30. The whore media is digging its own grave.
There's going to have to be a vast shift in their business model because they are losing us in droves. Readers AND viewers.

Americans hate being lied to -- as much as we complain or kid about sheeple. They hate it. And now the net is busting these liars left and right. Watch.

and published in Lancet (U.K. medical journal .... peer review there too)

no clean water and little medical care and you can have many deaths.

15. all started in Florida 2000
"DELAND, Fla., Nov. 11 - Something very strange happened on election night to Deborah Tannenbaum, a Democratic Party official in Volusia County. At 10 p.m., she called the county elections department and learned that Al Gore was leading George W. Bush 83,000 votes to 62,000. But when she checked the county's Web site for an update half an hour later, she found a startling development: Gore's count had dropped by 16,000 votes, while an obscure Socialist candidate had picked up 10,000--all because of a single precinct with only 600 voters."
- Washington Post Sunday , November 12, 2000 ; Page A22

Those poor Iraqis never knew what hit em.

25. I meant it in a broader context. "Choice" is such a muddleclass concept.
Most people in most parts of the world throughout much of time have not had many "choices".

It can be a really cruel thing to say to someone, like poor people, who DON"T HAVE MANY CHOICES.

I've taken to using the Iraqis as an example.

Congress, who alone have the power to stop this clusterfuck by refusing to fund it, sitting on their asses listening to and heaping praises on a bought and paid for general who was brought in to lie to them about non-existent "progress," so that they can keep the thing going for the sake of war-profittering and oil.

Shameful and despicable.
