It isn't about oil, or democracy, or UN mandates, or any other previous excuse/reason.

It isn't about oil, or democracy, or UN mandates, or any other previous excuse/reason.
It is all about just one thing:

Bush's Legacy.

And for that, the man belongs in the Hague for the rest of his worthless, miserable life.

Were it for the oil, we could at least, maybe, kinda sorta, say there was a sort of public benefit for Americans.

Were it for the democracy of Iraq, we could maybe, kinda sorta, stretch things and say it was at least a good intent.

Were it for the UN mandates, we could kind sorta, maybe, in a pinch, see it as having some moral authority.

But when it gets to where it is now - this miserable motherfucker's LEGACY - can anyone with an IQ higher than that of sun dried dog shit not see that it is a crime against humanity to be so cruelly selfish?

His legacy. The Miserable Sociopath's Motherfucking Legacy.

3. It's about the oil. But not in our benefit kind of way.
I had the very same thought as the one you are posting. It didn't make sense. Then Greg Palast mentioned how it was about keeping the oil in the ground. And it made sense.

It's about controlling the oil.

And yes, god damned these authoritarian creeps to hell.

4. I have always felt it was about draining the treasury
so those nasty social programs would go away. You know - Social security, medicare, medicaid, education. Drain the treasury until all the budget went to debt service and the Pentagon.
And while you are draining it, might as well send it to your friends. Just tell them to get into some bogus security company. No one is watching.
