Why is Bush delegating his authority as commender-in-chief to a general? OF COURSE generals want more troops, more money and more time. But Bush is supposed to do what is best for America.

Petraeus admitted that, even if given another year, all we'd be able to do is return troop levels to "pre-surge" levels. In other words: We'll have made progress.

The time to end this occupation is now.
