honestLy, does anyone think that peopLe actuaLLy forgot? and just doing these stupid chain maiLs or whatever does a greater disservice to "remembering" it - just boiLing it down to a bumper sticker.

never forget to remember 9/11, but onLy once a year. it's Like going to church on xmas.

4. Its part of the healing process
Reliving a traumatic experience by commemorating it helps people assimilate their anger, grief, etc.

7. it's insulting actually, like we need to be reminded?
9/11, the worst day in NYC's history and the best day of George Bush's life.

8. I hate the sappy crap...
I really do. If I had been killed on 9/11, I'd be pissed as hell at all the sappy crap. Sappy doesn't cut it. We should never lose the anger, imho. Nothing has been done to bring the perps to justice. Not one damn thing. I'm pissed as hell... and I'll not allow the sap to return until I'm finished being pissed... and I'm pissed 24/7, not just on 9/11.

I'm pissed that our government doesn't have the wherewithal to stop something like this attack from happening.

I'm pissed that the government has done nothing, not one damn thing in six whole years, to bring the perpetrators to justice and to hold all those who helped them accountable.

I'm pissed that the government is still using the shock of 9/11 for their stupid war games.

I'm pissed that so many Americans have forgotten what really matters about 9/11.
