Should we just say "F*ck it!" and give the whole mess to the GOP to clean up? |
|
Seriously. It's a radical thought, I know, but consider the massive set-up facing any potential Democratic president. Hillary and Obama aren't really about making a big change anyway, and DK, sorry to say, is not going to be elected. If the major candidates are going to continue this mess anyway, shouldn't we consider just letting one of the Republican Seven Dorks have it?
If nothing is going to change anyway, shouldn't we let THEM own it, and not pawn this disaster off on us, like Bush is trying to do?
I could never pull the lever for any GOP candidate, personally. I've done it once in the past, but never again. But I wouldn't mind letting them take this war and shove it up their asses until their entire party completely disintegrates. After all, look what it's doing to US.
I'm just getting to that WTF point, I guess.

They don't consider it a mess. Money being made everywhere. Poor kids make great cannon fodder.
Nothing to clean up.

They'll continue to screw it up until it's even worse than it is now.

9. Problem is, the GOP doesn't want the mess cleaned up. |

Rich getting richer, poor getting poorer, favored rightwing corporations like Halliburton up to their eyeballs in lucrative no-bid contracts, spanning the globe with soldiers and taxpayer dollars to ensure US corporations prosper. What could be better in their view?
Even if Democrats don't do anything about it, they probably won't enthusiastically make it worse like Republicans would.

What are you crazy?? Snap out of it!!!
The War On Iraq isn't the only thing that needs fixing! There's a whole laundry list!!
Our best bet is to get more Dems and Progressive's in the WH, and both houses and have
a 'true majority" that can vote!

19. This is why we need a mutliparty system. |
|
Both the parties seem more interested in making sure they keep their seats in the Senate than doing the right thing in Iraq. Maybe if they had a 3rd or 4th party breathing down their neck, things would change.
