In late Sept 2001 I was one of millions who left memetos and wrote on the paper walls of Ground Zero

Does anyone know whatever happened to those reems of paper and written outpourings? I'm serious, NYPD and FDNY had reps who were handing out pens, hugging you if you cried, sharing their experiences, however painful they might be, if it made you feel better. It really felt like we were truly as one, that if we stayed united we could beat down any outside force that wanted to destroy us.

Well, those days are sadly gone, but this anniversary has made me wonder if all those paragraphs and signatures are in an archive somewhere or did Rudy fill up more potholes with them?

Just curious, if anyone knows.
