4. No, it's already politicized enough
It would be a terrible day to announce and would smack of pure opportunism.

5. In my opinion, it would be disasterous for Gore if he announced on that day.
9/11 is already too politicized.

11. Now you see, why I was a welder instead of a "Political Guru"...
It would be fun to watch the pubbys scramble though...the pubbys would lose every drop of wind from their sails for about 30 minutes. They bleed every drop of "political capital" out of 9/11, but a democrat would be the most vile creature on Earth, if he did the exact same thing.

and as much as I want him to run, I wouldn't want him to announce today.

However ... any other day would be fine with me! :-)

Whatever he does will no doubt be for the good of the country and the world. I've always thought that Al is honest and that his heart is in the right place. It's hard for me to trust politicians anymore.(I don't know why)

"why the fuck did ya pick Joe?"

Joe the Ho Must Go...he's BLEMISHED as it gets.

With democrats like Joe who needs enemies? Joe has leaned heavily on fear mongering and the 9/11 political crutch to sell his line of bullshit, just like the GOP has.

16. You obviously don't know Al Gore
It seems REVENGE is more important to some than actual progress on the climate crisis or anything else. What a dumb post. Actually, wouldn't today be a great day to actually give a donation of support to one of his environmental organizations to show you really care? I can still dream can't I?

22. The point I was trying to make is this...
It would be a disaster for Al Gore to do that, even though it would explode the GOPer's heads to the max, but the GOPers have used the dead on 9/11 as political props and backdrops for almost everything they still have left to campaign on today and they have done so since 9/11. Where is your outrage over Rudy's bullshit today? Or Bush's?

You said it would be a good idea, NOW you say it'd be a disaster, but to me you make comparisons to Giuliani and ask where my outrage is? DAMN, that's choice material!

on the whitehouse lawn.

I was just thinking...What if our guys did the things the GOP does?

The tune is still in the same key though.

30. No. Enough exploitation of that day.
Besides, what would it symbolize?

9/11 should be a moment for quiet reflection, not grand political gestures.

On either side.

Bush makes me sick to the very core.

Go here and REMEMBER...

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/06/07/entertainment/main1690954.shtml

There is a difference between Democrats and Republicans and I'm glad I've always known what the difference was and still is. We are the party of the people, by the people and for the people, of that I have no doubt.

I'd rather be dead, than RED!
