on the number of Iraqis killed during SH's regime vs. what has occurred during *'s illegal war?
I'm in an intense argument on another board about the war, and would like to blow them away with what I think will be pretty damning statistics. I also need a source.
I would be happy to do the research myself, and will do so later if I need to, but right now I have to go to my daughter's open house at school.

Look at mortality rates before Saddam came to power, and project them forward.
Remember the death toll statistics that were cited as a consequence of the sanctions? Ascribe the increased deaths to Saddam, as well as the minor civil war among the Kurds, and any increased mortality due to lower levels of electrification and sanitation among the Shi'a.
