The Republicans have honed it to quite an art form.

Ever see the Disney animated film, "Lady and the Tramp?" The two Siamese cats, unimaginatively named Si and Am, absolutely wreck the joint. When the old biddy comes back in the room they not only position it so the dog looks guilty of property destruction they convey the impression she is threatening and harming them.

Classic Republican stance. No matter how much shit they pull, the minute someone calls them on it they absolutely shriek about being the victims. MoveOn.org didn't do a darned thing wrong with their ad.
