The BFEE has financial ties with the UAE and Dubai. Haliburton moved there.

Dubai seems to have an unseemly history and character.

I have no idea where I'm going with this. I'm just wondering if anyone out there has pursued the possibilities.

Some interesting reading here:

2. UAE/Dubai seems to kind of realize their oil gravy train is nearing the end of the line, correct?
Their supply is limited.

3. Possibly the opposite
Iran is in a postition to completely disrupt all oil coming out of the Middle East starting with the total destruction of the big Saudi oil terminal.

4. Well, of course. No doubt the USG is paying them big money for hosting our air bases and such.
Which is not to say that they won't someday find themselves being fucked over like every other U.S. ally eventually does. They're just greedy and hubristic enough to think that it couldn't possibly happen to THEM.

But, sure -- of course they'll reap profits from going along with an attack on iran, in the near term at the very least.

8. Iran is Shia, KSA & UAE is Sunni
Bush's illegal war has disturbed the Mid East regions Snni/Shia balance, by installing a Shia government in Iraq. KSA now funds Sunni insurgents in Iraq to balance the US backed Shia Iraqi regime. Dubai has stated they will not let Bush use the brand new Air base in Dubai to attack Iran.

Israel is fighting Iranian Shia funded fighters, this could align Israel with KSA. UAE is a major oil producer with many shared petro projects with KSA.

No one in the ME region wants more war, attacking Iran could enflame the entire ME region, if that happens, all bets are off, things very likely would spin out of control.

I believe that when the 15 British sailors were nabbed by Iran, many players in the ME region decided it was time to get proactive, and take charge of events in the region. Bush told Blair that US jets could push at the edges of Iranian airspace, at the time, IIRC we had 2 carrier groups in the Persian Gulf, which is actually rare to have 2 carrier groups in the Gulf at the same time. Blair told Bush to remove the carriers from the region, basically to mind his own business.

Simply put KSA UAE & the Bush Crime family are the evil triumvirate. KSA has bought new missiles from Pakistan, capable of delivering nuclear weapons.
