oh, god Norm Coleman referred to 'the light at the end of the tunnel'..Westmoreland.. |
|
Gen. William Westmoreland used that phrase repeatedly during Vietnam, including in testimony to Congress.
but this is nothing like Vietnam. Nope, nothing similar at all...
Norm must go. He's a mutt.

9. maybe not....Bloomington and Edina went for Kerry last time.. |
|
...things may be changing (two of the most affluent suburbs, traditional Repub territory)
anyway...if Al wins by a healthy margin in the cities, he should win big in Duluth, and on the Iron Range. Coleman's phony accent won't get him any votes "up north"

One of the top French commanders was the first to tell his country that he could see the light at the end of the tunnel in Indochina.

Why do you people dig yourselves a hole and then insist on turning it into a tunnel?

there are only so many phrases one can use to defend an abject disaster. Given the rate his party has been going through their reservoir, is it really his fault if the only ordnance left is Vietnam-era?
