...it must be the new editor/intern's first week.

Usually they do that if the interview runs really long, they probably cut out a bunch of really good chit-chat that on a less fun-packed show, they probably would have shown.

But to be fair, making a clean edit when the audience is hooting and hollerin' like they were after she came out, is really difficult.

than a good movie by most other actors. She's done several movies in the last decade, I enjoyed them all. Anna & the King, Panic Room, Flightplan, Inside Man. She's extraordinary in every way.
