1. Oh, You Mean The "Indepdents"???
I still condemn any and all who voted willingly to re-select boooosh in '04. They KNEW the lies, they knew this regime was corrupt, but they were either scared shitless or bullied into being "patriotic" and condoned all that's ensued since. The best thing these people can do is find a Ron Paul or crawl in a hole for several elections and let the adults clean up the mess.

I'm sure over the next year as things continue to deteriorate within this country that boooosh will become the big albatross of the '08 elections, but right now he still has friends who write checks...and fund primary campaigns. This whole dog and pony show this week was to give a cushion to Repugnicans to keep "staying the course" or face either cash shortages or primary challenges from the right. I'm willing to bet we see a lot of these rats scurry toward "the middle" starting next spring...only to hold onto whatever "independents" they can to save their own sorry asses.

2. Yep - and why I don't trust those influential Dems who chose to stay closer
publicly to Bush on his terrorism and Iraq war strategies from 2001-2006.

Before the fall of 2006 they were on the same page with Lieberman, and now they want to sound like they opposed Bush all along.
