Did Bushco get what they wanted from Petraeus' testimony?

Personally, I think they were as successful as Brittany's comeback.

1. I disagree. They couldn't have gotten better if they had PAID him to say those things....

oh, wait... they did.

Well, they got what they paid for! Bush is all set up now to declare "victory", and start pulling troops out early, amid much fanfare... probably sometime next summer. You know, right before the elections. Uh-yuh!

2. All that is true and that was the game plan from the start, but ........

..... from what I've been hearing, General Dave is being universally panned and seen for a stooge (essentially) of the White House. He made the Republics own the war all by themselves again.

I guess we're (you and me) looking at the same facts and drawing different conclusions.

3. And soldiers and Iraqis will continue to die so they can hand off the

war to the next admin. How selfish, sad and immoral.
