Oh for the love of all that's rational. The Dems will NOT confirm Olsen
And anyone who thinks they will, doesn't know jackshit about the Judiciary Committee. I don't know who else on the committee voted against him as Solicitor General, but as he barely squeaked through, it's safe to say the most of those who were in the Senate then, voted against him. Leahy did. Do you even know who's on the Justice Committee? Here:

Patrick Leahy, Chairman, Vermont
Edward Kennedy, Massachusetts
Joseph Biden, Delaware
Herb Kohl, Wisconsin
Dianne Feinstein, California
Russ Feingold, Wisconsin
Chuck Schumer, New York
Richard Durbin, Illinois
Benjamin Cardin, Maryland
Sheldon Whitehouse, Rhode Island

What's more, I think bushco knows damned well Olsen won't get through. And that's fine with him. Gives him an excuse for a recess appt. The dems are going to have to play this very carefully, but it's chess not checkers.
