My husband's peg site is red and beginning to have a bit of ulceration going on.
He's seeing the dr. on friday - i'll have him look at it, but just wondering if there is anything you would suggest to use on the site to help? it's painful when i'm cleaning it. i use polysporin and also an antifungal, but can't see that it's helping.

1. I work in ob/gyn, but

I'd say mix a zinc oxide barrier cream with an anti-fungal cream and make sure you keep an eye on his temps or any drainage. If those are present, call the doc.

2. are you talking about the zinc stuff used on noses, etc. to block sunburn??
