Another One For the Memory Hole -- the Military Solution in Iraq (Meyer cartoon)
Edited on Wed Sep-12-07 10:15 PM by omega minimo

Ya know that oldtimey game where folks would get down and roll a peanut across the floor with their nose?

When the Democrats approved the "Surge," we knew that the bogusness would play out the way that it has.

We were mad at the Democrats who went along and gave the WH credibility it did not deserve.

Going along to get along, going through the motions has got people now facing the insane offer of a "reduction" to pre"Surge" troop numbers.

NEXT SUMMER!!

And the day of 9-11 was used in the most cynical way.

There was a lot of emotion in the response from the Dems on the Hill.

But WHEN IS IT OKAY TO SAY NO AHEAD OF TIME when the outcome is predictable and the game is rigged?

The peanut keeps getting pushed back and forth across the floor.

The floor is filled with blood.

Got an email from Barbara Boxer today.

Said it's time for General Betrayus to take off the "rose-colored glasses."

More like it's time for the Emperor to take off his Invisible Robe.
