A 16 Point Plan for Restoring America
Legislative Branch

- The Legislative Branch will realize that it is not a rubber stamp for the Executive Branch.

- The Legislative Branch will reprise it's "advise and consent" powers from groups such as the Federalist Society.

- The Legislative Branch will realize that it was given the Constitutional power to confirm or reject anyone the President nominates and then has to be voted on by the Senate, including members of the President's Cabinet.

Executive Branch

- The Administration will remember that it serves ALL people in our nation, not just the people who voted for it and/or the people who donated to it's campaign.

- The Executive Branch will remember that it has the consent to govern from the People, and nobody else.

- The Executive Branch will realize that for the sake of our nation that it can only nominate people for positions in the government who are 100% qualified to be in them, and that they can be confirmed or rejected by the Senate.

- If we are in a time of war, then the Executive Branch, for the sake of national unity and to avoid an unfair political advantage, will forsake any political or partisan agenda that it may have.

Judicial Branch

- Judicial Independence must be defended and restored in areas where it has been compromised.

Media

- More organizations such as Media Matters for America and Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting should be formed to counter what is going on with our media today.

- False media watch organizations such as Accuracy in Media and NewsBusters should be opposed.

Freedoms

- The Fourth Amendment must be restored to it's Constitutional form.

- The TSA has a no fly list, not on terrorists, but on people who oppose the Administration. It must be investigated and dismantled if possible.

- The usage of Free Speech Zones must be decried.

Secrecy

- The usage of State Secrets Privilege must be investigated for possible political motives.

- Transparency laws such as FOIA will be restored and boosted for today's world.

- Executive Order 13233 will be overturned or otherwise done away with.

2. I believe that "Free Speech Zones"
were originally used to prevent abortion protesters from coming too close to clinics. Would you want that changed??

3. They were actually originally used by the City of Atlanta
And they "caged" everyone who had something to say outside the Democratic National Convention in 1988, including Pro-Choice people.

4. These are great points
This country has wandered away from the creed of our political faith and now function under "Georges Law". Would it be too much to ask that we simply first return to the constitution?
