Is NBC trying to pre-empt Bush on Iran?
Matt Lauer was in Iran on the Today Show. They were really trying to show how for all the repression by the Government the people are quite friendly toward America.
I wonder if NBC is trying to make up for their pre-Iraq war propaganda by making it harder for Bush lie us into war with Iran?

1. Well, if they lie us into war with Iran, everybody's ass is gonna be
on the line - Including Matt Lauer's.

4. Exactly. War with Iran would be a disaster.
From what has been reported/rumored, the military has told * and Cheney that it would be a disaster. But for those chickenhawks, one disastrous war during their term is not enough.

3. One can hope
aren't msnbc and nbc pretty much the same crew. Maybe they're taking note of the fact that a lot of people are embracing Keith Olbermann's view or at least tuning in to hear what he has to say and report on.

5. That would be a bad business move on GE's part.
Their stock has doubled since the Iraq war started. The Iran war would be an even bigger windfall for them.
If I were a shareholder, I would be very disappointed to hear any anti-war rhetoric from their propaganda division.

6. How about they lose MSNBC and CNBC because we have
already sold our souls to China, we're already broke, and we ain't going to be able to afford cable and satellite?

I seldom watch Tweety but for a couple minutes, but the last few days he has been on fire asking real questions. I am worried about his health. :sarcasm:

8. They went to Iraq too
I remember interviews in the streets with Iraqis, them saying they liked the American people, bla bla. It only served as propaganda to make the good-hearted American see their purpose in liberating these wonderful Iraqis from their oppressor.
