doesn't count. I heard John Kerry say it was way over the top, but nothing else. What have I missed?

1. Why should they?
It might be a little over the top, but not extreme.

3. It was the truth,
I'm pleasantly surprised that they haven't been falling all over themselves to denounce it.

2. Holy crap.
Can they jump on the Kool-aid bandwagon any faster????? :spank:

And you're right, Lieberman doesn't count 'cause he's a repuke in an ugly-as-hell Halloween mask.

15. Oh yeah, well I would have preferred that impeachment was still on the table!
“I would have preferred that they won’t do such an ad,” Pelosi said.
The ad is “a demonstration of the frustration that people have about the war.”

:eyes:

I saw that interview. I think her remarks were rather mild.

I'm not surprised that she denounced the MoveOn ad.

6. Remarks like that from Kerry is why he's not president now.
I'm sick of these ball-less, clueless Democrats chiming in when if they would just STFU it would serve us a lot better. Go MoveOn. They got another $100 check from this supporter yesterday.

10. It was HIS attack on WH and Petraeus report that was being diluted by the faux
dustup over the ad.

Kerry did NOT denounce the ad - he agreed with the overall point but thought the language was over the top - just as any QUALITY STATESMAN would say. You think JFK, MLK, or Paul Wellstone wouldn't have agreed with Kerry?

It's ball-less, clueless Democrats who never risked their own careers or lives in service to the truth that don't "get' John Kerry but attack him falsely anyway.

12. Before lacing into profanity,
you should hear what he actually said.

Kerry called it right on Petraeus' report long before anyone did.

Disagreeing with an ill-timed ad that shifted the focus from the message and Bush to Petraeus has nothing to do with being clueless or lacking courage (paraphrasing your profanity).

When you send the check to MoveOn, it will help the next time Kerry works with the organization, as he has on several occasions, including calling for the reeinstatement of Gen. Batiste when CBS fired him.

18. Thank you. I don't have the money to send them right now, but I
hope to be in a little better shape by the end of the year. They have what, 1.3 million members? That's a pretty darn good grass roots movement.

7. To me, the only thing wrong was the "Betray Us"
play on words / name calling.

It was a bit too much like a grade school playground.

People that have unfortunate names should not be ridiculed for their names, no matter how "catchy".

We can attack the message and the credibility of the messenger without resorting to name calling.

8. Yeah, it diminished the message.
People jumped on that and ignored the very pertinent points made.

it was presented using his name.

14. All they need to do is say Petraeus is "Fair Game" then point out the Right wing
outing a CIA agent.
