Are you going to watch Bush lie to us again on TV tonight?
Tuning in to Bush's "speech" tonight would be worse than a waste of time. It would be a waste of the electricity it takes to run your TV.

Anyone who doesn't already know the line of crap he's going to spew is either brain dead, or needs to be declared so.

The truth is, he's not speaking to most of us. He's addressing what remains of his supporters -- people who would have been among those fighting over deck chairs on the Titanic.

And there's also a personal reason I don't intend to watch him. I can no longer bear the sight of this empty little man, with his barely hidden smirk, standing there looking smug while spewing out his lies.

I've read many posts about how we hurt only ourselves by hating. It's a noble thought and one with which, under most circumstances, I would agree. But I can't help it. I really hate this miserable prick who is throwing away countless lives without giving it a second thought.

2. I haven't watched a Bush speech since the afternoon of 9-11
And I only watched that one because he was so obviously drunk I though people would boot him from office. I overestimated people, I guess. So no, I don't see any point in it.

Nope......
.....I've listened to his crap for the last 6 years - thinking sooner or later he has to come up with something new. He hasn't - it's still the same old drivel - and I doubt that'll he start a new trend, like being truthful, tonight.

But HowardX generally controls the remote and he is dead set against watching... hmmm... we have three TVs... yeah, I'm gonna watch in another room:)

Know Thine Enemy! It is far far better to watch and to know, to pick up on the subtleties, than to read it rehashed here by someone who may not have your same perspective.

Know Thine Enemy! It's a rule of war we can hardly ignore!!! We can't afford to ignore!!

He's a lying SOB and a poor one at that. I could think of 1001 things I would rather do without even trying hard. Fug him and the chimp he rode in on.

Taking in his words when I'm reading a transcript of a speech is bad enough, but actually listening to him mangle the language? Not this kid.

Have you ever seen the Conan O'Brien routine in which some "celebrity" (read: still picture with human mouth superimposed over the image) comes on for an "interview" with Conan? If you know what I'm talking about, you know a LOT of celebs and politicians have been parodied during this routine. Bush is the only one where the fake honestly sounds better than the real thing.
