If they stole a nuke....
If they're so evil and powerful, why couldn't they steal one without letting us know?

5. Exactly
Stealing a nuke sounds like it would be easy if you are evil and all-powerful, but the systems in place leave one hell of a paper trail. It's best to follow all the procedures and only make a "mistake"; if you are caught, just stick to the story and you'll be okay.

go to the media or the Congress?

edit: he went to neither. He went to his superiors, and they told the public.

8. They like scaring us into submission
Like when Cheney says if the Democrats win we will be attacked, the read-between-the-lines message is that "WE will attack you if we're not elected." If they let us know a nuke is missing they are reminding us that they have the power to destroy us all so we better be obedient workers. I also agree with the above comments that point out how incompetent BushCo is when it comes to 'accomplishing' anything, but they are evil geniuses when it comes to generating propaganda.

the one question the tin foil crowd can never answer is this: if they could pull off 9/11, why no attacks since? It makes no sense but then tin foil never does

14. If it was Bin Laden who pulled off 9/11...
why no attacks since? Because we're so much safer? Don't think so.

Whomever pulled off 9/11, whether it was crazed muslim terrorists or Dick Cheney or a combination, they haven't pulled off another one, because they haven't needed to. Everything they set out to accomplish has been accomplished.

18. Up until this point it has been to their advantage
to not have an attack. They have to wait for the Dems to do something that makes us look vulnerable and then slam us with another attack. Blame it on the Dems and spread another dose of fear. Two for one. The sheeple will never come out of their houses again. Although to your point in reality we have had other attacks, Anthrax, murdered scientists and journalists killed in action. Most people are not really aware of those however. Peace, Kim

26. There have been no attacks because it would make * & Co look bad.
Edited on Thu Sep-13-07 05:15 PM by TheGoldenRule
They have to be able to say that we are safer now, don't they? Otherwise, their so called "War on Terror" isn't effective and the war in Iraq is a mistake. :puke:

Don't forget that 9/11 gave * & Co the Patriot Act, the Iraq War and almost all the power * & Co could want. The only thing left is for * to become the dictator he's already close to becoming, whereupon his first order of business will be to destroy the Constitution and in turn the United States of America.

BTW-you can hardly call any of these facts "tinfoil".

EDITED to add that replying to your post was a waste of time because I can now see your only point was to try and start a flame war. Whatever. :eyes:

How many times do the tinfoil brigade have to be wrong in their predictions before we give up on this crap? Your excuses are even more more pathetic than the tinfoil asshattery itself. So i purpose the administration has stolen am atomic weapon to not use in its next attack because it would make them look bad. I suppose they've just put it in a display case at skull & bones headquarters. You can have it one way or the other, but not both.

44. I didn't say they would never try new scare tactics. Obviously, 6 years was long enough
for them to try again. Too bad for them that someone blew the whistle on their nuke scheme and the info is ALL over the net and they had to scrap the plan.

As for the nuke, maybe it's in hiding with Osama bin Laden. Who, IMO, happens to be a total SCAM the administration played on YOU and the rest of the airheads who believe what they have been "officially" sold over corporately owned and controlled airwaves! :eyes:

41. gee, did they really need any others?
I mean, really now...I think 9/11 worked quite nicely for * and Ghouliani...they have worn it like a badge of courage for the last 6 years...and have used it to get everything they ever wanted w/o any hesitation...first you give people a reason to be scared and living in fear of terrorists...blah, blah, blah...then you show them you can keep them safe...and in order for them to prove they have...we can't have any other attacks...that would defeat the whole purpose...BUT...let's not forget the agenda is not over...people are beginning to awaken...and ask questions...and now that it's been 6 years...more people can see how they might have been or were lied too...soooo...here they are back where they were before 9/11 and let's not forget...we have other countries we just might need to invade...so I for one, would not be surprised by anything that might happen from here on out...wb

31. Huh, and I've been wondering this afternoon who in the US is
going to get nuked. Really. Who would * nuke in the US? Large city? I have concerns that the "intelligence" that has been whispering loud enough for the reporters over the last few weeks about another terrorist attack might be accurate because they are planning it!

Maybe I won't feel this way in the morning.

32. It was purposely leaked so as to detract attention from the imminent Iranian invasion
This distraction is necessary, because if conspiracy theorists blog about the imminent Iranian attack enough, it prevents it from happening.

Once you grasp that, then I'll explain why the GOP intentionally let their domestic policy agenda be obstructed by allowing the Democrats to take back Congress.

If you work at it enough, you can create a unifying conspiracy theory that can adapt to and absorb all new facts as they emerge.

38. Although I'm beginning to suspect that the rumors of the imminent Iranian invasion
are meant to distract us from their plans for a nuclear first strike on China. I'd hobble together a bunch of random links about America's nuclear arsenal and strains in it's relations with China to try to lend an ounce of plausibility to this theory, but I'm trying to watch the football game.

But do I really even need evidence for any such theories? Isn't it just sufficient to say "they're capable of anything"?

37. If someone used it, the source would be obvious.
Each type of weapon leaves telltale traces which can be used to identify what device was used.
