30% approval of Bush's handling of Iraq is weak no matter how much it's 'jumped'
from the bottom.

Just 30 percent of Americans approve of Bush's handling of Iraq, but that was an 8-point jump from July, said the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll.

The boost came primarily from Republicans, men and independents, NBC reported.

1. This is exactly why I don't trust Rasmussen Reports...
From Rasmussen reports:

Thursday, September 13, 2007

Thirty-nine percent (39%) of Americans approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. Fifty-nine percent (59%) disapprove.

So it's either 30% or 39%. Guess that's close enough.

4. Fatigue- people are tired of beating a beaten man
plus another thread says (if it is the same poll) that the MOE is 5.2% which throws the whole thing out anyway
