You Know - The Department of Defense Still Has A Budget
The $50 Billion supplemental that Bush wants, if he doesn't get it the world is not coming to an end. DOD still has money, let them stop work on an Aircraft Carrier, or hold off on a new Submarine design. Let them halt a research for a few months or cancel orders for thermal underware if that's what it takes. Troops will not be left without food and shelter, nothing in Iraq is going to change, payrolls will still be met, and bombs will continue to rain.

Deny the homicidal bastard the supplemental, its not going to do any harm to our troops in the field. They just don't want to divert the gravy money away from the contractors.
