Call Sean Hannity's advertisers.
Call Hannity's advertisers. Why? Because Hannity supports this war. Tell the advertisers as long as this war goes on, you won't buy their products.

That will get them good.

7. Why don't you? It's your OP. You're apparently the viewer/listener.
Look up his advertisers and their phone numbers/email addresses. You're the initiator of this unlaunched "activism."

Sorry I won't do your spadework for you, but I'm busy doing other totally useless shit, like hectoring my rep and senators, fundraising for antiwar candidates, and so on.

5. Sometimes you have to sacrifice for the cause. Just 1 hour a day over 3 days wouldn't kill you
to make a list of local advertisers.

Hell, I tune in just to recharge my 'know thy enemy and what they are saying' batteries...

6. Do they allow libertarians on this board?
Your economic agenda opposes just about everything most progressives believe in.

Well if you want this war to end so much you can find out who advertises on Hannity's show. You can possibly use google to find out without listening to his show.

8. Damn I Really Need Another Oreck Vacuum
The problem with boycotts are few follow them and how far do you boycott?

Many of the advertisers on Faux are diversified corporations that get your money one way or another. You may think you're showing Pepsico a thing or two by not buying Pepsi, but instead go to a Taco Bell and order a Mountain Dew. Or many of these corporations make most their money off shore...they use the advertising for name recognition...not to sell a specific product. Unfortunately, I can't think of a national boycott that has had any affect.

I'm hoping that Congress pushes for the ala carte cable bill...allowing you and me, not Comcast to determine what comes into our homes and what we pay for. Right now many of us pay for Faux...and I'd like the ability to withhold any of my money going to fund a repugnican propaganda machine.

11. Far From It
I've been in "the media" and seen boycotts that were effective...on the local level. I've seen how a pissed off advertiser can push a station to make changes...and also learned how to piss off those advertisers...or at least get in their ears. But thats local...and I've posted many times on how people can achive a similar success.

A national boycott is another story...boycotting one small show on one of Faux's many channels won't be felt. Murdoch has subsidized Faux Noise for years with the revenues from his other ventures...its the same with other large corporates as well. I'd rather see 500,000 or more "unsatisfied" customers pay regular visits to Faux Corporate HQs in midtown Manhattan...or CNN Center in Atlanta. That sure would get some attention.

I'm not against a boycott...but that's not all that can or should be done. BTW...ya think people will give up watching the Simpsons and Family Guy or the NFL?

9. Here, call Sean Hannity's advertisers. Tell them you won't buy their products until the war ends.

Select Comfort and Microtel obviously support the messages that Hannity's spews against half a nation -- or they wouldn't advertise on such a program.
I think therefore, that since these two companies feel "comfortable" advertising on "The Sean Hannity Show," which is their right, we can choose to not patronize their establishments or buy their products.
