Busholini confirmed "No Exit Strategy". There never was one.
The Regime had intended to Occupy Iraq forever. The resources of oil, water, labor, businesses & the dominance of that territory were & are still the agenda.

1. Yep, it was the ONLY truth told in his speech....
the reaction to it might be interesting, it has been not well received by even his cheerleaders in the media it seems.

3. I think the DSM figured that out. There wasn't one because they thought
they'd prevail. Big surprise they didn't, but they can't let go; and we allow this.?

DSM = Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition (DSM-IV)

I know you meant "Downing Street Memos" for DSM.

But what I read/thought was that the "Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders" figured it out that * (and his crazy sycophant followers) are CRAZY/NUTS/PSYCHOPATHIC!

edit: typo

4. That's right...and they never, ever took Iran and Syria
seriously as threats....

They thought that the American might would just crush the whole region....(this is nothing against our soldiars)...this has to do with the mentality of this administration of conquering countries they don't agree with....they created the very vacuum that is sucking the life out of the region...

For you lurkers next time you vote for a President maybe it's best that you don't put someone in that you would like to have a beer with...maybe you should put someone in that has some book smarts....

6. Greed is the main factor.
Saddam was over thrown because he was going to sell Iraq's oil via the Euro. The Busholini Regime could not allow that to happen. Iran will sell it's oil to China & other nations. That is not acceptable to the Busholini Regime. If the US wasn't hostile to either of those countries they would have most likely sold oil to the US but at a price that would be more than OPEC, which would not be acceptable. So, the plan was to over throw any county that weren't co-operating with the US Govt's & the Multi-Corps program. I am sure that the Busholini Regime would love to over throw Hugo Chavez for the same reasons.

7. Good Point...I am sure that if the US military was so mired in Iraq
this administration would go after Chavez...no doubt.
