***Breaking*** Jean Shaheen is in NH Senate race: Buh bye John Sununu
Edited on Fri Sep-14-07 07:55 AM by cali
And another repuke incumbent Senator is poised for the hard fall. Shaheen has been running 20 pts ahead of Sununu for months, even without declaring.

3. Awesome
It is indeed turning blue up here, as folks who have been traditionally republican voters get more and more turned off by the GOP's religious extremism and untenable war support. I was happy to be out here helping Hodes get elected and I cannot wait to do the same for Shaheen.

4. This could happen!
I certainly hope it does. Get rid of Sununu first. New Hampshire has been subject to a creeping tide of blue for a while. Democratic voters from Mass. have been moving into N.H. for some time. They could very well change its color permanently.

7. That'll just leave my state (Maine) with our repukes up here.
They're tough nuts though.

Way to go New Hampster!

8. I still think Collins can be beat...
The commercials showing how she keeps caving to Bush's Iraq policies are HURTING and Tom Allen has a good chance here...

What they need to do is show the tape of her saying that she would only run for two terms OVER & OVER...She needs to be shown as the lying enabler she is...

11. I agree, but -only- with the full backing of the democratic party.
We desperately need some bigwigs to come up and campaign hard for him!

12. That is big news and Sununu always
brings up memories of his Daddy, who was the prototypical Bush-Arrogance-Personified. And, as a dentist, I always recall his leaving D.C. and flying to NH for a dental visit at taxpayer expense. Lots of political conversation in my office at the time.

But do recall who they brought in to fire him: Junior.

17. Nebraska next
not as much a sure thing as NH or VA, but pretty good odds if Kerrey get in. After that, how about Oregon? CO is in great shape with Udall. Maine isn't off the screen. But my dream Senate pickup? Gotta be KY. I'd love to see Mitch beaten.

computers, email etc. Does anyone think the GOP wouldn't try the same tactics again?
