2. They've got plenty to lose
Their congressional seats, for example.

I'm not saying Dem voters will switch to Republicans, but how long can you expect them to diligently vote for you when you don't do shit?

15. Yes, just like far too many Dems folded and voted for the IWR, their political careers
and personal assets TRUMP their sworn oath "to protect and defend The Constitution of The United States." If there ever were clear and irrefutable evidence touting the *need for term limits* in Congress, it's revealed by the GUTLESS PANDERING by many of our Democratic Leaders. Words can NOT describe how very disappointed I am at their lack of MORAL COMPASS.

39. The Dems will just have to work even harder at smashing third parties.
With no where else to go, who will the anti-repubs vote for?

Second place is not so bad.

The Washington Generals made a career out of losing to the Harlem Globe Trotters.

It is all about career, isn't it?

40. Thats why I dont trust any candidate that voted for the war and funded it.
If they will cave in when it comes to a war because of the political backlash they may receive, who is to say they wont continue to ignore the people and do what serves them best. Dennis Kucinich is the only guy that has completely stood up against it the whole way. We shouldn't accept politicians playing political games with peoples lives.

A TRUE LEADER, DENNIS KUCINICH. If everyone would give him a chance and see what he stands for, the country could have a great turn around with a great leader for the people!

It hurts too many people. Seniors and folks on disability shouldn't have to suffer, and yes, maybe even die.

14. So you sacrifice people
in order to not have others sacrificed in the future. Piss poor idea when all they have to do is send him a strong bill with timelines, and send it back repeatedly as he vetos it.

people suffer and die. Disgusting but hardly unexpected. Yeah, let's just sacrifice seniors, people who are sick, and the disabled, to make a point that won't even stop bush. There are alternatives- like sending him a bill he'll veto and then sending it again and again.

Love your humanity. Make the most vulnerable among us suffer to stop suffering. Brilliant.

p.s. I also volunteer at the food bank of my Parish Shelter and give rides to Seniors who are without transportation.

It's all a big LIE that pulling out the funding for the war profiteers MUST hurt others. It's just fear mongering. And you're falling for it. :(

42. He Still Won't "Compromise" -- Only Impeachment Is Operable
We've already seen how Fundcutters Two: The Sequel will turn out.

The only new "plot twist" will be that they'll drop the secrecy and just fund the war illegally right out in the open.

And why not? It's not like the DC Dems are going to DO anything about it.

Only Impeachment ... is the exit to this DemocRat's Maze.

It is our ONLY moral, patriotic option.
